Set up help please, soft/hard, low/high?
Hi, might sound like a daft question but want some help with set ups.![:redface:]( "Red Face :redface:")
Am I right with the below settings
BUMP = 1 for soft - higher number for harder ( 1 would give more travel)
REBOUND = AS ABOVE
SPRINGS = 160N/mm for soft - higher number harder (160N/mm would give more travel (make car softer) than 240N/mm
ANTI ROLL BAR = 60N/mm for less - higher number more (60N/mm would give better cornering than 120N/mm)

Nordschleife / Audi TT RS Cup
Trying to shave time on the Nordchleife in the TTRSCup on the Tourist circuit, bridge to gantry timetrial.
I've been running with stock setup - and don't really know where or how to adjust anything which might improve times.

General tips for front wheel driven cars!
Title says it all but I'd like to have some tips for front wheel driven cars like wtcc/wtcr or the TT's.
I'd guess soft front springs and arb, high camber at front and rear. But I don't know for certain so I'm rather asking before doing it all wrong![:D]( "Big Grin :D")

Help For FRX-17 setups
Hi,
I would like to know if there are some specific setups working well for the FRX-17.
About the springs, how should we process to set them? Is it a good idea to set the wings to the minimum, in order to concentrate on the handling of the chassis?
About the anti-roll bars, should we set them rather hard or rather soft?
What do we usually set differently between a Qualification setup and a Hotlap setup? I think for example we can reduce the wings, as we have more fuel when doing Hotlaps....

Setup for Frx17 in Spa

After posting my setup for the DTM Virtual championship at Hockenheim I spoke to @Paul Jeffrey more about setup sharing and my ability to test and produce setups for people who are new to the R3E club and Sim racing.
I figured I would open a thread here and basically leave it open to interpretation. I have made setups for a number of cars in R3E but going and finding which cars and tracks individually would take a lifetime. So instead treat this as a request...

Touring Classics - BMW M3 E30 @ Macau
Works with the DTM 92. Both sets (and cars) should be equal now. But I built both setups separately, so there maybe a minor difference in it.

Nissian GTR on then Black ice
When driving with the Nissian GTR on Nordschleife VLN or 24h. No matter what I do, I can not get a good smooth run, it's like sliding on black ice. It is located at the entrance of the Nordschleife where Grand Prix ends. All other cars I have no problem with the entrance. I was wondering if someone else is having this problem or is it my bad driving skills.

So with the FR2 challenge at Spa for the Thrustmaster competition, are there any good setups that hit the sweet spot? I'm still fairly new and learning a lot. I know I also have some work to do to drive a little smoother, but just playing around with some basic setup I shaved more than a second off my lap time from the one lap to the next.

Traction control question
I'm making the step up from Amateur to Get Real and am slowly coming to understand the impact of the various setup parameters through trial and error (well, mostly error) but I can't seem to figure out what the negative side is to a high traction control setting. Traction control was set to 100% by default in the amateur division and while I can set them at 100% in Get Real too, I assume there is a trade off, just as there is with most settings. Can anyone tell me what the downside is?
